Lost track of these guys for a couple years, then saw the Tiny Desk concert come up in my feed. I've had the album on loop on Spotify since Friday. This song in particular has been stuck in my head all afternoon.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+...

I believe the last track was released as a single, and I remember listening to it while I had a terrible flu. It blew me away into a fever dream... in a good way? It was quite a somatic experience. I adore this album and recall the show at Knockdown Center a few years ago fondly.
