Schoolmates of Bondax and Aquilo as a child up in the Lake District, Junk Son moved south and formed his five-piece band whilst studying compositional/classical music at the influential Goldsmiths College in London.

Current single Over is the sound of a neon modern ambience, scorched with Junk Son’s late-night soul and cooing digital arrangements.
Produced and recorded by John Dunk (AKA Junk Son) in his South London bedroom studios.

Speaking of the track John said: "This track has stuck with me for a long time. It was one of the first tracks I ever fully produced, so it seems fitting for it to feature on my debut album. I took a fresh look back on it, and brought out some of the more natural elements of the
production. It’s a nostalgic listen for me now..."
